Directions to The Swag

Note: Please do not use a GPS system to find us! Some GPS systems send you on an obscure 4x4 road of rough terrain. Instead, please use the directions below.

• From Asheville or Knoxville
• Take Exit #20 onto US-276 South
• Go 3 miles and turn right onto Grindstone Rd.
• Go 1.1 miles and turn right onto Hemphill Rd.
• Continue up Hemphill, following Swag signs approximately 3 miles.
• Turn left onto Swag Road and at the gate follow the instructions to announce the name of your reservation and enter.
• Then continue up The Swag driveway 2.5 miles until you reach The Swag.

• From Atlanta
• take I-85 North to I-985 North, I-985 will become US-23 North.
• Continue on US-23 North to Waynesville, take Exit #102B onto US-276 North.
• Go 1.5 miles and turn left onto US-19 South/US-276 North.
• Go 2.3 miles and merge right onto Jonathan Creek Rd./US-276 North.
• Go 2.4 miles and turn left onto Hemphill Rd.
• Continue up Hemphill, following Swag signs approximately 4 miles.
• Turn left onto Swag Road and at the gate follow the instructions to announce the name of your reservation and enter.
• Then continue up The Swag driveway 2.2 miles until you reach The Swag.
