The Swag

Driving Directions

• Coming from Asheville or Knoxville via I-40, take Exit #20 and turn onto US Highway 276 South.
• Go 3 miles and turn right onto Grindstone Rd.
• Go 1.1 miles and turn right onto Hemphill Rd. (Note: Because car engines often run hot climbing to 5,000 feet, we suggest that you turn off your air conditioner once you reach Hemphill Road.)
• Continue up Hemphill, following Swag signs approximately 3 miles.
• Turn left onto Swag Road and at the gate follow the instructions to announce the name of your reservation and enter.
• Then continue up The Swag driveway 2.5 miles until you reach The Swag Inn.

Note: Please make your reservation for a room or a meal prior to visiting the Swag.
